Official Contest Rules (Terms & Conditions)
1. Sponsor. This contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored by AirVantage Heating & Cooling (“Sponsor,” “AirVantage,” “we,” or “us”), Unit 6A 3095 McCallum Road, Abbotsford, British Columbia V2S 7W4.
2. No Purchase Necessary. NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning. Requesting or completing a free HVAC quote, as described below, does not constitute a purchase.
3. Eligibility. The Contest is open only to legal residents of British Columbia, Canada, who are homeowners residing within AirVantage’s service area (Abbotsford, Mission, Chilliwack, Langley, Surrey, and Maple Ridge) and who have reached the age of majority (19) in British Columbia as of the date of entry. Employees, contractors, and officers of AirVantage Heating & Cooling and its marketing or advertising agencies, and the immediate family (spouse, parent, child, or sibling) or members of the same household of such individuals, are not eligible to enter or win.
4. Contest Period. The Contest begins at 12:00:01 a.m. Pacific Time on September 25, 2026 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. Pacific Time on October 11, 2026 (the “Contest Period”). Entries received outside the Contest Period will not be counted.
5. How to Enter
There are two free ways to enter. No purchase is required for either.
5.1. Quote Entry. During the Contest Period, request a free, no-obligation in-home or virtual HVAC quote with AirVantage through the official Contest page at airvantage.ca/furnace-giveaway, or by calling (604) 200-0178. Completing the scheduled quote appointment constitutes one (1) valid entry. There is no cost, payment, or obligation to purchase associated with requesting or completing a quote.
5.2. Free Mail-In Entry (No Quote Required). Entrants who prefer not to request a quote may enter by mailing a postcard containing their full name, mailing address, phone number, email address, and the words “Furnace Giveaway Entry” to: AirVantage Heating & Cooling, Unit 6A 3095 McCallum Road V2S 7W4, Attn: Furnace Giveaway. Entries must be postmarked no later than October 11, 2026 and received no later than October 14, 2026 to be eligible.
5.3. Entry Limit. Limit one (1) entry per household for the duration of the Contest Period, regardless of entry method used or number of quotes requested. Multiple entries from the same household will be void.
6. The Prize
6.1. Prize Description. One (1) winner will receive one (1) Silver package furnace, supplied and installed by AirVantage at the winner’s primary residence within AirVantage’s standard service area, sized appropriately for that home.
6.2. Approximate Value. The approximate retail value of the prize ranges from $8,380 to $8,910 CAD, depending on the furnace size required for the winner’s home. Actual value will vary and is determined solely by the equipment required.
6.3. What Is Not Included. The prize does not include any discount otherwise available on AirVantage’s standard price list (including, without limitation, no-thermostat, no-venting, no-4″-filter, or maintenance-plan-removal discounts), and the winner is not entitled to receive the cash value of any such discount if it does not apply to their installation. The prize also does not include any optional upgrade (including, without limitation, a return duct, red carpet duct, surge protector, chimney liner, basic duct cleaning, Dust Free system, or HEPA filtration). Any upgrades requested by the winner beyond the standard Silver package furnace and installation are at the winner’s own expense, at AirVantage’s then-current pricing.
6.4. Prize Conditions. The prize must be redeemed for installation at a single primary residence within AirVantage’s standard service area. Installation outside this area, or requiring extraordinary access, permitting, or structural work, may be declined or subject to additional charges at Sponsor’s sole discretion, to be discussed with the winner in advance. The prize is non-transferable, has no cash value, and no substitution is permitted, except that Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value at its sole discretion.
7. Winner Selection
7.1. Random Draw. One (1) winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period, on October 15, 2026, by a member of AirVantage management not participating in the Contest.
7.2. Odds. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.
7.3. Skill-Testing Question. Before being declared a winner and receiving the prize, the selected entrant will be required to correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question administered by phone or email.
8. Winner Notification
The selected entrant will be contacted using the phone number or email address provided at entry, within 3 business days of the draw. If the selected entrant cannot be reached within 5 business days of the first attempt, fails to correctly answer the skill-testing question, declines the prize, or is found not to meet these eligibility requirements, Sponsor reserves the right to select an alternate winner from the remaining eligible entries, time permitting.
9. Verification
All entries are subject to verification by Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual or entry it believes to be fraudulent, incomplete, submitted in violation of these rules, or obtained through any unauthorized or automated means.
10. Publicity
By accepting the prize, the winner consents, without further compensation, to AirVantage’s use of their first name, city or town of residence, and photograph or likeness in connection with promotion of this Contest, in any media, except where prohibited by law.
11. Privacy
Personal information collected through entry will be used solely to administer this Contest, and, only where separately consented to, for AirVantage marketing communications. See AirVantage’s Privacy Policy at airvantage.ca/privacy for details on how information is collected, used, and protected.
12. General Conditions
Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, illegible, misdirected, or postage-due entries, or for any technical failure, malfunction, or interruption of any website, network, phone line, or equipment involved in the Contest. Sponsor reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest, or any part of it, if fraud, technical failure, or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Contest.
13. Limitation of Liability
By entering, participants release and hold harmless AirVantage Heating & Cooling, its owners, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any injury, loss, or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with participation in this Contest or the acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize.
14. Governing Law
This Contest and these rules are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
